Our Sing for Good gallery is filling up and we are receiving so many #feelgood entries from choirs, work groups and friends! Everyone is getting in on the act of doing good with donations coming in and the public voting for their favourite acts. Sitting on top of the leader board is a very creative entry from Charlie Teo and his team of Neurosurgeons. The surgeons often enjoy “singing together during and after a hard day in the operating theatre” to help them overcome many of the tragedies that occur on a daily basis.
The Brain Cancer Warriors took to the operating room to sing the hit song ‘I Will Survive’ and have received a whopping 48 votes so far and raised $1070 through donations. Go Brain Cancer Warriors! If you haven’t already seen their surgical and musical performance you can view it here.
The total donations raised for Sing for Good thus far are creeping up to $8000. But we still have a long way to go and need as much support as possible. So please keep those fantastic entries coming and turn that frown upside down by singing a song. Then simply share it with friends and family and donate to help us build stronger, happier and healthier communities!
